NAAF is working with the Atlanta Braves to produce the Native American All-Star Showcase. The Showcase is a 2-day event where baseball players from across Indian Country spend one day in a clinic with former MLB players and coaches to hone their skills on the field and a second day playing an exhibition match. During the event, data is collected to help players in their recruitment efforts. Players and families get to hear inside knowledge from college recruiters and professional scouts about the recruiting process. Players are chaperoned by 10 mentor coaches provided by NAAF. The mentor coaches are Native coaches from around Indian Country and continue to serve as mentors after the players leave the clinic.
